Live jazz performances include:

  • 6:15 "Jazz Giant" Gene Parker & Friends - to dusk


Leave coolers at home, bring lawn chairs/blankets.  Adult beverages, sodas, water, & food will also be available. The festival also hosts a juried art show.  Admission is free.

Area artists display and sell (If they choose) paintings/drawings to visitors at the Thompson Stone Hall Otsego Park.  Plein air artists will be invited to paint in the area around the Stone Hall and then sell their works.  Wine, beer and hors D'ours will be available as people stroll the artists' works.


Otsego Thompson Stone Hall, 20000 W. River Rd., Bowling Green (at the junction of #235 & #65) on the beautiful Maumee River.

PLEIN AIR HISTORY The "Plein Air" movement was pioneered by John Constable in Britain.  Then In 1860, it became fundamental to "impressionism". The popularity of painting en plein air (in open air) increased in the 1870s with the introduction of paints in tubes.
