2024 SUNSET JAZZ & ARTS FESTIVAL

Join us on the Grand Rapids Towpath with Maumee River wildlife as your backdrop, and listen to soothing jazz music.

Bring lawn chairs/blankets; please leave coolers at home; adult beverages, sodas, water, & food will also be available; the festival also hosts a juried art show; admission is free.

2025 Pop-Up Art Gallery

Public is welcome to come peruse art and maybe pick up a masterpiece for that hard-to-buy-for person!  Plein air artists will also paint along the Maumee River.  Hors D'ours are provided; live music is by Aaron Hertzfeld; wine & beer for sale as you stroll the artists' works.


Otsego Thompson Stone Hall, 20000 W. River Rd., Bowling Green (at the junction of #235 & #65) on the beautiful Maumee River.

    GRAC is bringing a street artist on Friday to the the

    Kick-Off party; a street artist along the towpath on

    Saturday, Towpath Radio & live music, adult

    beverages, a corn-hole tournament & Fernando's

    Mexican Cuisine. 


  PLEIN AIR HISTORY   The "Plein Air" movement was   

   pioneered by John Constable in Britain. Then In

   1860, it became fundamental to "impressionism".

   The popularity of painting en plein air (in open air)

    increased in the 1870s with the introduction of

    paints in tubes.
